The IOW Young Writers ('Anon Writers') Book Launch

So last night was the official launch of the IOW Young Writers anthology of poetry, titled the 'Anonthology.' It was an absolutely outstanding evening, and I was thrilled to have so many of my friends and family there to support my spoken word performances. Our group and its directors became extremely close, and we all delighted in the reality that our work was now published, being sold before our eyes. It was quite surreal to be giving autographs and interviews, conversing with project managers, and performing to a huge turnout of people crammed in the cosy spaces of Waterstones!

Film Review: Finding Dory

I think that all of us will admit to thinking it a Photoshop ruse when seeing the first promotional picture. Film Review: The BFG

I will start by saying that this is my first ever film review, and as is customary with many, there will be spoilers ahead! Cinema forms a mammoth part of my life, and due to the reasonable prices of Ryde Commodore Cinema on the Isle of Wight, I bumble along once a week whatever the weather. I've also just completed two intriguing years of studying Film at A-Level. On Sunday 24th July I finally saw 'The BFG', after maintaining an eagerness for its release months prior.
